Does the diagnostic cost anything?
No. Verttical's diagnostic is free: the Process Cost Sheet is yours even if you stop there, and it may recommend not building.
How much does a cycle cost?
Each Verttical cycle has a fixed price for 9 weeks—setup plus the 8-week cycle—known before you sign, and paid in four milestones tied to approved reports.
What happens if it misses week 8?
If the agreed scope misses week 8, you choose: Verttical works up to 4 more weeks at no cost, or you do not pay the final 20%, barring a recorded delay on your side.
Who owns the code?
All code Verttical writes, including AI-assisted code, belongs to your company from the moment it is written, not from the last payment, and lives in your repository from day one.
How do you protect our data?
If personal data is involved, Verttical acts as a processor under a DPA, per Colombian Law 1581 of 2012. Development uses anonymized data; your data goes only to AI tools you authorize in writing.
What happens after week 8?
At day 30, Verttical repeats the measurement, and for 90 days it fixes defects against the agreed scope at no cost. After that, no support is included: your team runs it, or another cycle or support is quoted.
